Background and ExperienceAttorney Hagopian is a graduate of Mr. Hagopian served as an intern for the Criminal Division of the Department of Attorney General while attending law school. Upon receipt of his license to practice law in Rhode Island, Mr. Hagopian joined the Department of Attorney General as a Special Attorney General. During his tenure as a State Attorney, he prosecuted arrests by the Rhode Island State Police and various Rhode Island State Agencies. After serving as a State Attorney, Mr. Hagopian entered the private practice of law in a medium size law firm. At that time he developed his litigation skills in civil and maritime law. Mr. Hagopian also served as legal counsel to the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline and to the Board of Nurse Registration and Nursing Education. In 1992, Mr. Hagopian managed his own law office as a general practitioner. His practice consists of advising clients in the areas of criminal infractions, domestic relations, bankruptcy and financial reorganization, civil litigation and business organization. Mr. Hagopian's practice also includes real estate settlement, title searches and real estate related issues. Mr. Hagopian also serves as a local instructor for all legal sections of the Becker Convisor CPA Review course.
